Jake Tomé Rotz

Hi! I’m Jake Tomé Rotz (He/They), a Cuban-American actor from Winter Park, Florida. Upon graduation, I spent 2 years as a Featured Singer with Royal Caribbean. After moving to NYC, I was fortunate enough to work at some amazing regional houses across the country. Travel is one of my passions, so both experiences have been outstanding. I am a proud graduate of the University of Florida, receiving both my BFA in Musical Theatre (2022) and MS in Management (2024) from there. Go Gators!

Collaboration is super important to me. I thrive when working in a group, and love to develop and tell stories in interesting ways. Beyond performing, I am also an aspiring director and educator. I developed my passion for teaching in high school when I started a musical theatre camp for children in my living room. I hope that one day I can share my experiences and knowledge with other hopeful performers. 

When I’m not onstage, I love to read sci-fi books, arrange and experiment with music, and plan my next big travel itinerary. I hope this website gives you a little insight into who I am, and I hope we can work together soon!
